This Past Weekend

So Fridayyyyy I went out!! me and my aunt started out at some little bar and got cocktails which were really good! And right before we left was so awesome!! I was sitting at the table and this guy came up and was leaning against this chair at my table and was holding his girlfriend and all the sudden the chair flys out from under him and he falls on the floor, pulling her down with him, making a loud noise and caused the ground to shake! Ahhaha!! It took everything i had not to laugh in front of them!! Good times!
Then we went to Cargo! We got a drink then danced, They have really good DJs. I met this guy named Matt who was hot. And we talked and stuff... haha
Then we went to Hoxton Bar or something like that and got more drinks lol and scoped out boys and took a little sitting break.
We were gonna go to another club after but it started to rain when we were waiting in line and my super duper cute new shoes were starting to kill my feet so we went home but it was a really good night!!!
Saturday we worked out (yuck) and went to the Affordable Art Fair which had some really interesting stuff!! But we didn't get any. We did something after... Well I forgot what but it was a good day out.
Sunday! We went on an adventure which started at freaking 7 in the morning!!! But we went to Windsor and it was a really cute town and we went to the castle and it was really big and pretty and cool!! and they were setting up this ridiculously long table for some dinner which was cool to watch. Then we had fish and chips and walked around. Then we went to Oxford and walked around there and checked out one of the university branches which was pretty cool. Their dinner hall looks like the one in Harry Potter. And they have to wear robes during exams and a few other times... I'm glad I don't go there! It was awesome! But I'm glad haha. Then we ended the day with 3 orders of 2 for 1 margaritas cos we have Mexican in us LOL.
It was an awesome weekend!!! I died a little from all the walking but it was fun and interesting and productive!! :)
Now I can't wait for this weekend... Halloweeeeeeeeen!!!!!!!

Halloween 2!!!

It was so awesome it gets it's own blog!!!
That's right! I finally saw it!! I asked a kid from school, got myself a large coke and watched one of the greatest scary movies ever made!!! Devil's Rejects is still my favorite by Rob Zombie (duh greatest movie ending ever!!) but this was a close second!! I mean there's blood everywhere and crazy ghost momma and flashbacks and crazy scenes (it was a lot like House of 1000 Corpses) and it was just great!!! Predictable cos of course whenever it gets quiet and they're focusing on one person he's gonna come out and kill them but I still jumped everytime and was super scared!!! I can't wait until it comes out on DVD so I can buy it!! And I'll buy the first one too so I can watch them all the time! haha
But yeah people, if you haven't seen the movie, or any Rob Zombie movie for that matter, get a life and go see it!!!!

My Friday Night! (:

Last night was the bomb!! (that's right I said the bomb)
Originally I was supposed to go see Halloween 2 with a couple guys from school and then they bailed cos they got a DJ gig which is a really good excuse so I was cool but a little bummed BUT THEN Ronnie invited me to go to this club with her for some live music then DJs till 3 in the morn which sounded super fun so I went! I got dressed up and gotta wear my new vest from H&M and prettied myself up and went out!! We met up with her friend Marishka who's so nice and we were going to the club to see her boyfriend's (the drummer) band who were awesome! But before I get there, we started off with a b52 shooter which I learned is a shot with Kahulua, something I never heard of and Bailey's. Sounded gross but it tasted like a Starbucks caramel frap with yum alcohol! haha so then I drank about 4 vodka and lemonades with lime which really just tasted like sprite! (probably why I drank so many) But I held my ground and danced and jammed when the band went on who were so freaking good! And sounded like if 311 was just starting out now and were from England with some fun edge to them.... when I do remember the name of the band I'm posting it cos they're gonna be big and I'll be able to say I saw them first when they were small!!!
Well they were off before the last train back so we decided to leave early so I could go home and just use the tube instead of paying like 60 pounds for a cab. MAN!! I did drink too much for that nonsense! We made the ttrain in time so I got to Waterlos and o station right before the last Bakerloo train left (which I could've taken straight to my tube stop) so I'm hauling through the station with a lot of drink in me and in my pointy boots with some heel only to see the doors of the last train close when I'm about 3 feet away. LAME! But then the guy told me I could catch Jubilee to Baker Street where I could've gotten a cheap cab. Only it was leaving in like 4 minutes and that train was wayyyy on like the other side of the station! So once again, I'm hauling ass to catch this other train which is my last hope. Fortunately I made it! I was sweating and thought those drinks might come up (thankfully they didn't) but I made it and got to Baker Street where I caught a cab for 8 bucks! And the train adventure was well worth it cos the night was so good!
And when I got home my drunk aunt was waiting for me with leftover food from her dinner party that was delicious!!!
Super night!! I'm definitely making sure I have more like that before I leave! (:

Madrid!

So last weekend me and my adored aunt went to Madrid, it was awesome!!
We ate lots of really good food and did lots of shopping and my aunt baught me some really cute outfits and some hot shoes! We also went to some museums, the Prado and Thysen which were really big and interesting and had some really good art! We also checked out some churches which are really pretty on the outside! Then my aunt taught me how to pray to the saints and dead Jesus's which was fun
But the food was so good!! I ate so much! Oh and drank a butt load of sangria which was delicious (although the beach in Mexico still has the best) and I drank some of their beer in like a small glass which is some traditional drink there? Idk but it was good! I had a ton of fun! Would totally go back and I recommend everyone to check it out if you can cos it was fun!!!!
I could've done without the screaming non stop talkative children but it was worth it! haha

Not Happy.

I was really starting to like London. Yeah, I was. You know they had the cool club scene and I'm legal to drink and I have the cool internship. There's hot guys. They still sell crispy M&Ms. It was good. Then I started to get the cravings for Cheeto's. None. There isn't a Starbucks close to my house or work. There's TONS just not in convenient places. Then I got happy cos I could listen to the Edge online. But TODAY it suddenly matters that I'm not in the US and I can't listen to any radio station I love online. Oh and they have Micky D's and KFC which are ok but I could so go for a baconator from Wendy's. But there isn't one. Thanks healthy country that doesn't stream US radio stations!!!

But Halloween 2 comes out October 9th so once I finally get to see that I'll be ok :) :)

My Work Experience!

OKAY!
So I got this really cool internship at Shine Productions which is a TV production company and it's awesomeeee!!!! And it's the majority of what I've been doing these past couple of weeks so I don't have much else to talk about. Anyways!! They deal with TV stations all around the world and do a lot that air in the States. I pretty much do whatever needs to be done for the day. I've helped them put together the recipes for the masterchef cookbook coming out in January next year and have even had to harras the people who hadn't sent in their recipes yet. HA! I've also looked up venues for the Junior Masterchef finale but I can't really say where cos it's a secret :P and I've done research for a new show called Small Talk which seems like it's gonna be good! But mostly I've been working with the Shine International department, organizing all the shows they have on CD and there's a lot! which I find crazy cos I'm like the least organized person ever but I've gotten all their stuff in order and documented. Yesterday was probably the best though cos I had to preview a butt load of promos for this meeting and there's some really cool shows coming out!! The best ones were Look, The Listener, Arranged Marriage, and a couple others I forgot the name of. Oh and did I mention I'm at hot guy central? haha! but seriouslty! Love it!! I've decided if my music label doesn't work out, I'm moving to Cali to work at Shine there!!

By the way....

If you don't get my URL, you really need to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It's funny and it'll make sense :)

What I've been up to so far

I'm finally writing in here from London!!! Sorry it took so long!

Ok so since I've been here, nothing too exciting has happened as I have yet to meet anyone my age to go out with. And I'm still not 18 so I can't go to bars or anything yet (2 more days though!!!!)
Ok so first week I got sick which sucked but hopefully that means that's done with and I'll be fine the rest of the trip. I've been to one carnival, the Notting Hill Carnival which is like a Jamaican type carnival where people dress up, some in crazy outfits and some in shirts with boobs drawn on them, and there's food and lots of flags and music. (People are big on flags here I'm noticing.) I've been to 2 museums, art ones. The first one was ok, not very memorable but the second one (National Portrait Gallery) was really cool! It was small but the 2 exhibits they had was Gay Icons, where they chose 6 famous gay people to pick their 6 icons and it was all photographs. It was cool to look at the pics and the commentaries on why they were icons were really interesting! then they had some contest and it was all paintings (mostly oil) but they were insanely good!! They had crazy detail and some looked like straight up camera photographs! Props to the artists.
LIE! I've been to 3 museums, the BEST one was the Movieum and it was like the history of movies and had all these props and costumes and one section was like still frames from old and new tv shows and movies, awesome! and there were sections with all genres of movies!! and i got in (for freeeee) right when it opened so no one was there which made it even more awesome. OH! and they had a Beatles part with pictures and their drum set and one of the guitars, I would've taken a picture but there a million signs saying I couldn't and I didn't wanna get kicked out so I didn't.
But the best day so far I thinking was the one where I rode on the back of a motorcycle through London :) :). I had to wake up early (lame) to work out so i did then my aunt's trainer who is the owner of the bike said she'd like to take me out on it so we went!! It was AMAZING!! I want a scooter now like the one from Yes Man!! It was so much fun!! But right as we were turning on to the street taking us back to the gym, the bike DIED! It was awful! we had to call one of her friends cos it was too big for either of us to push and then it took forever to figure out the problem. but at least it didn't die sooner!! Cos we went pretty far! But then we got sushi which was yum!
I've been to one play, it was on Thursday and it was AWFUL! It was Mother Courage and her Children I think and it was opening night which showed! they started late and then announced they couldn't do the last 2 scenes cos they were dangerous and they weren't prepared which was fine cos the play without the last 2 scenes was over 2 hours of awfulness!!! It was funny cos in the beginning they said they'd give refunds and at the end there was a huge line of people wanting their money back.
OH! so Ronnie, my aunt's trainer, had tickets or this thing called Proms which is normally a classical music concert in a park but last night was the last night so they tried to make it more hip and fun. They opened with a Rolling Stones cover band, then another one, then a Queen cover band, then some Opera singers, some chicks rocking out on violins then... shamefully... Barry Manillow. I saw Barry Manillow. And his face looks like wax!!! Crazy stuff!!
I start a music class in October which is a music business class at Point Blank Music College and I'm super excited about it and hopefully it'll help with my meeting people situation and give me more to talk about!! But for now I think I've written plenty! Next time I won't wait so long to write.

Night!

One Week Left!

Wow so summer's coming to and end and I leave for London in one week! It's so crazy cos all of the sudden it's here! And I'm so not ready, surprise! haha. And while I'm sure there are more productive things to do at this moment to prepare for my trip, I'm doing the first entry for my blog to break the ice and because this is more fun. Basically with this I want to have another way to keep in touch with people and so everyone interested can know what I'm up to and see pictures of things I've seen and done, and because this is all about me and my parents like to say I'm in love with myself and all about me so might as well make it true! haha!! :P
